After officially introducing the LG G Flex 2 at CES 2015 in Las Vegas this January, the Korean tech giant is finally bringing the bendy smartphone stateside.

The handset arrives with a 5.5-inch OLED display, a self-healing back and a battery that can withstand being bent back and forwards.

The phone was actually the first to be announced bundling Qualcomm’s controversial new platform, the Snapdragon 810. It bundles either 2GB / 3GB of RAM and 16GB / 32GB of internal storage.

Sprint is offering the G Flex 2 in an exclusive “Volcano Red” paint job, in addition to the normal “Platinum Silver.”

If you plan to pick up the handset from Sprint, you should know the carrier is giving it to you for $504 / €475 off-contract or $199 / €187 on a 2-year contract (which translates as $21 / €20 per month for the next 24 months).

LG is launching its latest flagship in the US just a week after Samsung and HTC rolled out their latest top-tier products. HTC’s phone actually takes advantage of the same Snapdragon 810 architecture as the G Flex 2.

So which one will you choose? Will you grab LG’s new bendy phone or wait for the Samsung Galaxy S6 or HTC One M9?
