We reported last week on the availability of the LG Optimus L3 II Dual and Optimus L7 II Dual smartphones in India, but the South Korean company has not made any official announcements until recently.

Today, LG India has officially introduced both mid-range Android smartphones in the country and has announced that they will be available for Rs 18,650 ($340/€260) and Rs 8,890 ($160/€125), respectively.

The good news is that LG Optimus L3 II Dual and Optimus L7 II Dual devices are already up for grabs at various Indian retailers for much lower prices.

As AndroidOS points out, the former is currently available for only Rs 7,899 ($145/€110), while the latter is priced at Rs 14,990 ($275/ €210) outright.

Keep in mind that both smartphones ship with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and offer dual-SIM capability.
