The application now offers improved tablet support

The Android version of Kobo eBook has been a little bit behind the iOS version when it comes to functionality and performance.

However, with the latest update, Kobo eBooks is now close to offering Android users the same kind of experience that iOS users benefit.

Kobo eBooks 4.0 brings improved tablet support as well as full integration with Kobo Pulse social network application.

Users will be able to share reading activity via Kobo Pulse with the latest version of the application. Facebook Timeline sharing is included as well, along with the ability to bookmark multiple pages.

Last but not least, developers made added some performance enhancements and several bug fixes, which have yet to be detailed.

Kobo eBooks 4.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all smartphones and tablets running Android operating system.
