The slate is available for purchase for $210/€160 outright

One of the largest Android markets, India has just received a new affordable tablet that offers dual-SIM capability, the Mercury mTab streaQ.

Manufacturer Kobian has just announced the immediate availability of the tablet in India for only Rs 11,499 off contract, which is about $210 or €160.

The folks at AndroidOS report that the tablet ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box. In addition, the Mercury mTab streaQ packs a single-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, as well as 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.

The slate sports a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 1024 x 600 pixels resolution, a 2-megapixel rear photo snapper and a secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls.

It also comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as HDMI port, built-in FM radio and GPS receiver.
