Support for manga books with right-to-left vertical text is included as well

Amazon has just released a new update for its book reader application for Android devices, Kindle. The software has been improved with support for new content and bug fixes.

Starting today, Kindle for Android supports manga books and titles with right-to-left vertical text. In addition, users will be able to send PDF, DOC, DOCX, and image files to their Kindle using the share option in other Android applications, including Adobe Reader, Documents to Go, ES File Explorer.

Last but not least, Amazon has improved support for Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform and the Nexus 7 tablet. Several bug fixes are included in the update as well.

Kindle 3.7.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
