14 DAY TRIAL // BlackBerry smartphone owners who use Kik messaging application on their devices will be happy to know that the developers have just announced that the new update is available for download.
The Kik team confirmed on their blog site that the latest update improved the overall performance of the application and that of the battery life.
However, the update is not available via Blackberry App World, instead Kik users will need to manually download it from within the application itself. Simply open Kik and go to Settings, then click Help & About US and choose Check for Updates.
As soon as the update shows up download and install it. Those who are getting an error message and are unable to download the update should turn off mobile network and connect with via Wi-Fi.
