It looks like Karbonn is trying to take on Micromax A116 Canvas HD phablet with the upcoming S1 Titanium smartphone.

Spotted by the folks at AndroidOS, the handset has yet to make its debut on the market. However, the latest hearsay claim Karbonn S1 Titanium will be launched in India soon for around Rs 13,000 outright, which is about $240 or €180.

The S1 Titanium has been confirmed to ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, as well as a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz.

Furthermore, the smartphone will come with dual-SIM support and a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and HD video recording.

We also know it will sport a qHD display of unknown size, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as a 1600 mAh Li-Ion battery.
