The team behind one of the most popular messaging services, KakaoTalk, has just announced that its Android application has been updated with lots of visual and under the hood improvements.

Aside from the usual list of miscellaneous bug fixes and improvements, KakaoTalk for Android now features an improved chatroom UI and a better “Edit” feature for the chat list.

According to developers, the chatroom menu (including Photo) has been moved to the keyboard area and a brand new winter theme has been applied to the splash image. Last but not least, a keyboard error found on certain devices has been fixed as well.

You can now download KakaoTalk for Android 4.2.0 for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up.
