With more than 10 million downloads on Google Play store and more than 60 million users, KakaoTalk for Android sits on top of the most popular smartphone messengers available on the market.

Developed by kakao, the application is now available in more than 230 countries. KakaoTalk has just been updated with a handful of performance and visual improvements. Firstly, the application now features a new app icon and front design page.

Furthermore, the Plus Friend recommendations are now sent to each friend's 1:1 chat room when this function is used to recommend Plus Friend to two or more friends.

In addition, the Invite Friend list has been improved along with the Find tab. Developers also added better usability of 320 x 240 resolution phones and addressed several issues with sorting the friend list.

KakaoTalk 3.5.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.6 and up. Check it out here.
