Owners of Windows Phone devices can now download a new version of the KakaoTalk application for their smartphones, namely version 2.0.3.0.

The new flavor of the software arrives on handsets with a series of bug fixes and performance improvements, the available release notes unveil.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the application was designed to allow users to easily keep in touch with their friends, all for free.

KakaoTalk allows users to send and receive messages to and from anywhere around the world, and takes advantage of available Wi-Fi hotspots, so that users won’t have to pay a cent.

Moreover, the messaging application comes with support for group chats, and requires no registration, no extra phone number, no membership. “Just download KakaoTalk, enter your phone number, confirm, and you’re done! Simple as that,” the app’s description reads.

You can download KakaoTalk 2.0.3.0 for Windows Phone from Softpedia today.
