The Alpha testing program for the app has started this week

Android users interested in trying out the Jolla Launcher on their devices as soon as possible have only one day left to sign up for the Alpha testing program that the company has announced last week, it seems.

However, it appears that interest in the launcher is very high, and Jolla has decided to provide all those who joined the Alpha testing with the possibility to enter the Beta tryout as well.

In a post on its website, the company has confirmed that the Beta testing will kick off in August, and that all those who are signing up for the Alpha will be automatically included in the Beta program as well.

“We will continue with Beta testing on August, and all the people that have been signed up so far will be able to join at Beta testing phase,” the company says.

Apparently, the number of applications for the Jolla Launcher testing is far larger than what the company was expecting, and some people might actually be left out of it or might have to wait a bit longer for the app to arrive on their devices.

“We are sorry for the inconvenience for those that cannot fit in now, but our aim is to deliver the Launcher to all of you as fast as we can with the current resources that we have,” the company said.

The Alpha flavor of Jolla Launcher is already being pushed to users, and the company appears pretty confident that the testing will go along nicely, since it is already preparing the beta version.
