It looks like HTC has finally started the rollout of the Jelly Bean update for some of its One series devices. Unfortunately, the upgrade is only available in Asia and there’s no telling when it reaches other markets.

Pocketdroid reports Jack Tong, general manager of HTC North Asia, confirmed One X owners would receive the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean upgrade starting today.

Unfortunately, the update will only be available in Asia and Tong wasn’t able to offer a timeframe for its release in other regions.

However, he did say that HTC One S would be the next to receive the upgrade in the following weeks, again, only in Asia.

Aside from bringing the phone’s software to version Android 4.1.2, the update also adds the latest HTC Sense 4+ user interface. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
