Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean is now rolling out to Samsung Galaxy S III smartphones on the network of wireless carrier Three UK.

The company has just announced on Twitter that the OS is available for its users, soon after the platform was reported to be available in Ireland, Italy, UK and Switzerland.

“Jelly Bean has arrived for Galaxy S III users. To update is simple,” the carrier announced, linking users to this page on its support website.

There, customers will find specific info on what updating the device involves, as well as details on how to install the new software on their Galaxy S III devices.

They will receive a notification as soon as the new firmware is available for their devices, but they are also offered the possibility to perform manual checks on it via Settings > About Phone > Software Updates.
