More budget friendly smartphones are released in India weekly than in any other country in the world. The next device that will soon make it to market is Intex Aqua Xtreme V.

As the name might suggest, this is in fact a high-end smartphone powered by Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system out of the box.

The smartphone will go on sale in India in the next couple of days for only Rs 11,290 outright, which is about $180 or €165. It will be available in three color options: black, grey and red.

Moving on to specs, the Aqua Xtreme V will be equipped with a 1.7GHz octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.

On the back, the handset packs a 13-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash, autofocus and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel camera for video calls and selfies.

Intex Aqua Xtreme V offers dual-SIM support, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB). The phone is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.

Last but not least, Intex's handset will ship with several apps and services pre-installed, including Opera mini, Intex Play, OLX, Intex care and Flipkart.
