The 5.9-inch smartphone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

Mobile phone users in India interested in the purchase of a new Android handset that sports a 5.9-inch 800 x 480 pixels touchscreen display can now consider choosing the new Aqua Style from Intex, as the smartphone has just become official in the country.

The phablet sports a 1 GHz dual-core processor to complement the aforementioned large touchscreen, and runs under Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

On the back, the new Aqua Style sports an 8-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash, paired with a front camera for making video calls.

Furthermore, the device packs 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, microSD slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G connectivity, and GPS receiver, while being powered by a 2,500 mAh battery.

Announced in black and white, Intex Aqua Style costs Rs. 11,200 ($207 / €154) and includes a free 4GB micro SD card, phone case and a screen guard, fonearena reports.
