Chinese handset maker Lenovo and Intel are about to unleash their first 5.5-inch Android smartphone, the IdeaPhone K900.

The bad news is the smartphone will be launched in China and is unlikely to go on sale in other regions. According to Digitimes citing industry sources, the IdeaPhone K900 will be available for purchase for $640/€490 beginning with April.

Aside from the fact that it boasts a huge 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display, Lenovo’s phablet will come equipped with a powerful 1.8 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 processor, 2GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

In addition, the smartphone is expected to sport a 13-megapixel rear photo snapper with autofocus, dual-LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording. An additional 2-megapixel front-facing camera is included as well.
