Instapaper is a relatively new reader application for Android devices. Developed by Mobelux, Instapaper has less than 50k downloads on Google Play Store, possibly due to the fact that it’s not available for free.

Anyway, the latest version of the news reader has been updated with performance improvements and bug fixes, as well as some new features and options.

First of all, developers added a Sepia mode and In-line footnotes. In addition, users will now be able to scroll by tilting or by full pages (pagination). There’s also a new category called “The Feature,” which includes editor recommended articles.

Instapaper 1.2 is now available for download for $3/€2 via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.3.3 and up. Check it out here.
