It will go on sale in blue and gray via KDDI carrier

The new Infobar A02 smartphone expected to go on sale in Japan will be offered by major carrier KDDI beginning mid-February for a price that will be announced closer to launch.

Manufactured by HTC, the smartphone has been designed by Naoto Fukasava, Engadget reports. Infobar A02 is equipped with an impressive 8-megapixel rear photo snapper, which features HTC’s ImageSense technology, as well as autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.

In addition, the smartphone packs a quad-core Qualcomm APQ8064 processor, which is complemented by 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory that can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

Infobar A02 by HTC also comes with Beats Audio technology, Near Field Communication (with Osaifu-Keitai mobile wallet) support, 1seg TV tuner, as well as IPX5 and IPX7 certifications.

Last but not least, the smartphone will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box integrated with iida 2.0 UI, specially designed by Yugo Nakamura.
