Imgur, the insanely huge database of hilarious images, has just updated its Android application with new features and a completely new redesign.

First of all, this is Imgur's first fully native Android application, which was rebuilt from the ground up in order to offer a seamless browsing experience.

According to developers, the entire gallery has been redesigned especially for mobile browsing, so users will now be able to focus on what matters most: images, comments, and community.

The latest update also brings new and improved upload feature, which will allow users to create a new post with their camera, saved images, and a “healthy dose of your superior storytelling abilities.”

Imgur users will now be able to browse by topic to find the posts they are most interested in. Last but not least, developers have delivered some bug fixes for some well-known issues.

This means that you should no longer get stuck in an image loop. Other general fixes and under-the-hood improvements have been implemented as well, but no additional details have been shared yet.

You can now download Imgur for Android 2.0 for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.1 and up.
