The update brings new features, new options, bug fixes and improvements

SHAPE, the developer of IM+ instant messenger for multiple mobile platforms, has just announced that a new version is now available for Windows Phone platform.

The latest update bumps IM+ to version 3.0 and brings a handful of new features and options meant to improve the application’s functionality even further.

For example, with the newest version of IM+ for Windows Phone, users will be able to take advantage of the options to change group chat topic or lock display orientation.

In addition, users will now be able to view VK.com timeline from contact’s info and add favorite contacts from different services in one group.

Developers have also added Quick Voice messages and Location messages, which allows users to share their location via IM+. Lots of bug fixes and performance improvements have been included as well.

You can now download IM+ for Windows Phone 3.0 for free via Windows Phone Store. The application should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Windows Phone 7.5 and up.
