SHAPE, creators of IM+ cross-platform instant messaging application, has just released a new update for their Android client.

Developers improved the application’s interface and gave it a facelift in order to make it look more like Ice Cream Sandwich.

In addition, Android users will now have the option to disable Rage Faces emoticons, which were introduced in the previous update. The latest version of IM+ for Android features more timeouts for “Go to Push in background” options.

Last but not least, SHAPE removed supports for Skype calls voicemail and added some bug fixes, which have yet to be detailed.

IM+ 6.4.2 instant messaging app is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
