One of the handsets that we found displayed at the IFA 2013 trade fair in Berlin last week was the Nokia Lumia 620 IP45, which is, basically, a tougher version of the original.

The same as Lumia 620, the smartphone arrives on the market with a 3.8-inch touchscreen display, as well as with a 1GHz dual-core processor packed inside, 512MB of RAM, and 8GB of internal memory.

Furthermore, the smartphone was announced with a microSD memory card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth connectivity, GPS receiver, and a Li-Ion 1300 mAh battery (BL-4J).

On the back, the Lumia 620 sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper with support for 720p video recording, paired with a front camera for making video calls.

In addition to all these features, the Lumia 620 IP45 also packs a special protective shell, CC-3061, which has been certified to withstand dust and splashes of water. It replaces the back cover of the smartphone, but also makes it a bit thicker when compared to the normal design.

The shell is made of a flexible plastic, which means that it can also absorb shocks, and is tough enough to protect the handset when needed.
