Acer announced the Liquid Z1 affordable Android smartphone in early August and confirmed that the device would go on sale in just a few weeks.

Although the phone has yet to hit shelves in most European countries, Acer Liquid Z3 has been recently showcased at IFA 2013 trade fair in Berlin, Germany.

The smartphone is powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and packs a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

It also sports a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 320 x 480 pixels resolution and a 3.2-megapixel rear-facing camera with video recording. Acer Liquid Z3 has been priced at €100 ($130) outright and is likely to be available only in Europe.
