Chinese company Huawei has just taken the wraps off the rumored MediaPad 7 Lite tablet. Although the handset maker was unable to provide an exact release date for the slate, it did mention it will hit shelves sometime this month for 249 EUR outright.

Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite will be launched with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box, though we’re not sure if it will come integrated with the Emotion UI as well.

Hardware-wise, the 7-incher will be equipped with a 1.2 GHz single core processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

In addition, it will sport a 3-megapixel rear photo snapper with video recording, as well as secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls. The 7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display supports 600 x 1024 pixels resolution.
