The latest Android smartphone announced by Acer a few weeks ago, the Liquid Gallant has been recently showcased at IFA 2012.

The smartphone does not impresses when it comes to design and has no out of the ordinary features that could increase its desirability.

However, we did notice a rather peculiar design aspect that could make this phone rather unique. As you can see from the pictures, Acer decided to put the power button right near the camera, on the back of the phone.

Other than that, the Liquid Gallant comes with pretty average specs, such as a 4.3-inch display, 1 GHz single core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and 5-megapixel rear camera.

The smatphone is powered by Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, and is epxected to hit shelves in just a few weeks.
