Chinese handset maker Huawei has just revealed a new device which looks pretty promising, the Y300.

The phone was showcased at a trade fair in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and is expected to go on sale by the end of the year for only 250 USD (190 EUR).

Although it’s priced so low, the Huawei Y300 will be shipped with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean platform out of the box. In addition, the smartphone has been confirmed to pack a dual core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, along with 512MB of RAM.

The Y300 will sport a pretty decent 4.0-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution, as well as a 1730 mAh Li-Ion battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.

The smartphone has been confirmed to go on sale in Brazil in December, but we’re expecting Huawei to make it available in other countries as well.
