There’s a new entry-level Android phone coming to T-Mobile USA later this week. Rumored several weeks ago, Huawei Prism has just been unofficially confirmed for May 6.

The folks over at TmoNews got their hands on an internal T-Mobile document that states the smartphone will be released in US as T-Mobile Prism.

According to this document, the handset will be available through Best Buy on May 6 and Walmart on May 9. All other sales channels will get it on May 23.

No word on the price tag yet, but T-Mobile Prism is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and packs a 600 MHz single-core processor, 512MB of ROM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 2GB memory card included).

In addition, the smartphone sports a decent 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, as well as 3.2-megapixel rear photo snapper.
