Huawei is expected to host an event on April 15 in London in order to unveil the all-new P8 and P8 Lite handsets.

We have seen some purported images showing at least one of the handsets in real life leak online before, but this time the folks of Ausdroid (the original entry has been deleted but luckily Mobilissimo picked up the pics beforehand) have posted two press renders showing the upcoming phones in all their glory thus giving us the clearest view of the new models to date.

The Huawei P8 is set to arrive with a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a Kirin 930 chipset, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage (mircoSD card is also available). The phone will don a 13MP/8MP camera combo, 4G dual SIM support and a 2,520 mAh battery.

Meanwhile, the P8 Lite is a toned-down version of the flagship coming with a 5-inch 720p display, 1.2GHz Kirin 620 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. As for photography, Huawei throws in an 8MP/5MP setup. The phone relies on a slightly lighter 2,200 mAh battery.

The P8 is the premium model, so it will arrive with a metal and glass body construction. It has been whispered online that the phone will go on retail for $480 / €448, while a more high-end Platinum Edition will sell for around $800 / €747.
