Huawei has been pretty guarded about launching products in 2015, but the few that were made available were pretty impressive. At MWC 2015, the Chinese company revealed its first Smartwatch which took everyone by surprise with its style and class.

Nevertheless, the phone maker will unveil its next-flagship, the P8, soon enough, during a big event scheduled for April 15.

The phone has already leaked online with most specs, but now we find out that Huawei seemingly has two versions of the top-tier device ready for us, a standard model and a premium one.

According to Gizmo China, Huawei will also unveil a P8 Platinum Edition in a week or so. Apart from the premium materials used (probably aluminum alloy), the Platinum Edition will also differ from the standard edition by bringing into the picture a sapphire glass panel on both the front and the back side of the phone.

The high-end model will arrive in gold, while the average model will ship out in black. Apart from that, the Platinum model will retain the same specs as the normal P8, including a 5.2-inch 1080p resolution display, a Kirin 935 processor (or Kirin 930, if we listen to other rumors), 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a 13MP/5MP camera combo.

The rumored price for the standard version of the Huawei P8 is $484 / €444, but naturally, the Premium edition will cost a pretty penny. According to the source, the luxury Huawei P8 will ship out for $817 / €741.
