The handset packs a quad-core processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
Today, Chinese mobile phone maker Huawei made official a new smartphone running under Google’s Android operating system, namely the Huawei A199.The new mobile phone features a large 5-inch HD touchscreen display, while also packing a quad-core 1.5GHz K3V2 CPU inside, and 2GB of RAM.
Furthermore, the new device hits shelves with 8GB of internal memory, as well as with a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.
As Engadget notes, the new device also features an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, a front camera for video calling, a 2150 mAh battery inside, and Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top.
The smartphone can already be seen on Huwei’s website, on this page, yet specific info on its availability and pricing haven’t been made official as of now. Stay tuned for more on this.
