Unveiled back in December 2011, Huawei Honor has just been introduced in Australia via major retailer Dick Smith. The smartphone can now be purchased for only $399 AUD (420 USD or 335 EUR) off-contract.

Although the device was initially launched with Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system out of the box, Dick Smith will offer an “enhanced” version with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform onboard. Check it out here.

Huawei Honor is equipped with a 1.4 GHz single-core processor, an Adreno 205 GPU, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of ROM and 1GB of storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

In addition, the smartphone sports a 4.0-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 854 pixels resolution, as well as an impressive 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.
