The Huawei Honor 7 leaked into the wild a while ago revealing the full extent of its specifications, but recently, we’ve found out that a higher-end model is also in the cards. The Honor 7 Plus was recently tipped to arrive with a 5.5-inch FHD display (1920 x 1080 pixel resolution) and a hefty 4GB of RAM on board.

If you were wondering when you can get your hands on these models, we’re here to shed some light on the matter. A new teaser indicates that the Huawei Honor 7 and Honor 7 Plus will probably be introduced on June 8.

The teaser image is pretty cryptic, showing the date on a galactic background and Albert Einstein’s famous words “Imagination is everything” on top.

But even with all the vagueness, we dare assume that Huawei is indeed plotting to unveil the Honor 7 and Honor 7 Plus on that day. Apart from what we mentioned above, the phones should come equipped with the company’s home-grown Kirin 935 chipset, plus a 13MP camera with OIS.

The handsets will run Emotion UI 3.0 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop and will be powered by a 3,280 mAh battery. A fingerprint scanner is also probably in the cards.

Huawei is going to outfit the less advanced model with 16GB of internal storage (128GB for the Plus model) and 3GB of RAM.

The phones will be made of aircraft grade metal, so they will look very premium. Stay tuned to find out more on June 8.
