It looks like Chinese handset maker Huawei plans to launch another affordable Windows Phone handset, the Ascend W2.

For the time being, it’s unclear when exactly the device will be officially introduced, but at least one retailer has the Huawei Ascend W2 listed on its website.

FastCardTech has already put a price tag on the Ascend W2 and offers the smartphone for only $290/€220. Check it out here.

However, given the fact Huawei did not even announce the device, we wouldn’t recommend ordering one yet.

Huawei Ascend W2 is said to come equipped with a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 720p resolution, 1GB of RAM, and 8-megapixel rear camera.

The phone is said to pack a 2,000 mAh Li-Ion battery, HSPA+, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, along with built-in GPS. Stay tuned for more info on the subject.
