Chinese mobile phone maker Huawei is expected to launch its first Windows Phone 8 device in the beginning of the next year, while planning on making it available for purchase in Europe starting with the first quarter of 2013.

Furthermore, the company is expected to launch the device in Asia soon after making it official, although specific info on the matter hasn’t been offered as of now.

Italy is said to be one of the first European markets to receive the device, although it remains to be seen when exactly it will arrive there.

One thing that appears to be certain, according to Windows Phone Italy, is that users in the country will be able to purchase the Huawei Ascend W1 by the end of March 2013. Stay tuned for more on this handset.
