The smartphone is now available for only €200/$255 outright

Chinese handset maker Huawei has just released its budget-friendly Ascend W1 smartphone in Germany. The Windows Phone 8 handset is available for purchase for only €200/$255 off contract.

According to WMPoweruser, Windows Phone fans can grab the cheapest smartphone powered by their favorite mobile platform via Amazon. Check it out here.

Huawei Ascend W1 comes equipped with a decent 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit and 512MB of RAM.

The phone features 4GB of storage inside, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

The Ascend W1 also sports a 4-inch WVGA IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

On the back, there’s a 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and HD (720p) video recording, while on the front, there’s a secondary VGA camera for video calls.
