It should arrive on shelves with a quad-core CPU, 5-inch screen

Chinese mobile phone maker Huawei is reportedly gearing up for the launch of a new set of Android handsets in the not too distant future, with a new such device spotted online recently.

The smartphone is known as Ascend G710 for the time being, and can be admired in the photo above, available courtesy of @evleaks.

Little is known at the moment on this device, but the available leaked details suggest that it might arrive on shelves as a top mid-range smartphone.

It will pack a 1.5GHz quad-core processor inside, along with a 5-inch touchscreen display capable of a 720p resolution, and support for CDMA and GSM networks.

The rest of the Huawei Ascend G710’s specs are shrouded in mystery for the time being, yet it might not be too long before they are uncovered, so stay tuned to learn the news.
