The smartphone is available for $280/€210 outright

Chinese handset maker Huawei has just released the Ascend G600 in India. The smartphone has been available on pre-order for several days via major retailers across the country and now customers can grab if to for Rs 14,990 ($280/€210).

According to AndroidOS, Snapdeal is the only authorized reseller offering the Ascend G600, but other retailers are waiting for the smartphone to arrive in stock.

Huawei Ascend G600 ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box and packs a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz.

Furthermore, the device sports a more than decent 4.5-inch qHD IPS capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution.

On the inside, the Ascend G600 embeds 768MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory cards.
