The smartphone packs a 1.2 GHz dual-core CPU and Jelly Bean OS

Chinese handset maker Huawei has silently unveiled the Ascend G510 handset for the European market.

The smartphone appeared recently in Czech Republic and will soon go on sale in other countries for around €200/$265 outright.

According to Mobilenet.cz, Huawei Ascend G510 will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

Moreover, the phone packs a pretty decent 1.2 GHz dual-core Mediatek MT6577 processor, which is complemented by a PowerVR SGX531 graphics processing unit and 512MB of RAM.

Although the Ascend G510 embeds only 4GB of internal memory, users will be able to further expand storage up to 32GB via microSD memory cards.

It also sports a large 4.5-inch WVGA IPS capacitive touchscreen display that supports 854 x 480 pixels resolution, as well as a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1700 mAh Li-Ion battery.
