Huawei Ascend G330 Goes on Sale in India for $200/€150

The smartphone comes with Android 4.0 ICS out of the box

Chinese handset maker Huawei has just outed the Ascend G330 mid-range Android smartphone in India.

The device was initially launched in the UK, and is now available for purchase in India via multiple retailers across the country.

AndroidOS reports that customers can grab the Huawei Ascend G330 via Flipkart and Snapdeal major retailers for only Rs 10,999 outright, which is about $200 or €150.

The Ascend G330 is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform, but Huawei is expected to offer a Jelly Bean upgrade in the coming months.

Hardware-wise, the smartphone is packed with a dual-core processor clocked at 1 GHz, an Adreno 203 graphics processing unit and 512MB of RAM.

There are 4GB of storage inside, but only 2.5GB available for users. However, internal memory can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

It is also worth mentioning that the Ascend G330 sports a decent 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution.
