The smartphone will be available next year for around $500/€380

The upcoming Huawei Ascend D2 is expected to be unveiled next month at Consumer Electronics Show 2013, in Las Vegas.

The smartphone will be available for purchase for around $500/€380 outright, though we don’t have any info on the exact release date.

Anyway, the folks over at ithome have just published several live pictures of the Huawei Ascend D2 smartphone.

The white version of the Ascend D2 looks pretty stylish, but other color options are likely to be available as well.

So far, we know the Huawei Ascend D2 will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform out of the box, and a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz.

Furthermore, the smartphone will boast a 5-inch full HD capacitive touchscreen display, 2GB of RAM, 13-megapixels rear camera and a high-capacity 3000 mAh Li-Ion battery. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
