The Apple Watch continues to cause skin irritation

Earlier this month, we told you that some users of the newly released Apple Watch complained that the wearable was causing them some nasty rashes.

For its part, Apple has warned users who are more sensitive than others to nickel or methacrylates to stay away from some models of the smartwatch, including the space gray Apple Watch.

Moreover, the company says there might be another reason why users are getting these rashes: they might be wearing it wrong, either too tight or too loose.

An overly tight band can cause an irritation, while a loose band can cause rubbing. If you’re unsure, here’s the correct way of wearing the smartwatch.

But amidst experiencing annoying skin irritations, some users still found ways to make a joke or two. One particular Twitter user made a hilarious comparison a few days ago, by saying his Apple Watch rash looked very much like greyscale.

For those who don’t follow the fantasy saga A Song of Ice and Fire by R.R. Martin, greyscale is a dreaded and usually fatal disease that can leave flesh stiff and dead, and the skin cracked or flaking, stone-like to the touch.

All jokes aside, though, Apple should really do something about this skin rash thing, before a new #skingate scandal ensues.
