Sony has just announced the sequel to the Xperia Z1, though some may argue that the improvements included within the new Xperia Z2 are not that important.

The most obvious improvements would be the stunning 5.2-inch full HD (1080p) TRILUMINOUS capacitive touchscreen display and the 3GB of RAM inside.

The Xperia Z2 also comes with an impressive 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera that features autofocus, LED flash and 4K video recording.

On the inside, the handset packs a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, which is complemented by an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit and 16GB of storage.

Sony Xperia Z2 will be available for purchase beginning March for £599 (€720 / $995) in the UK, €599 ($825) in Germany and €699 ($960) in the rest of Europe, which seems pretty expensive.
