Samsung announced the Galaxy Core LTE one week ago, but the smartphone is not yet available for purchase. However, those attending this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 will be able to see the Galaxy Core LTE at Samsung's booth.

Samsung Galaxy Core LTE should be one of the cheapest LTE smartphones judging by the confirmed specs. The handset ships with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and packs a 1.2GHz dual-core processor.

It also sports a 4.50-inch PLS capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution, as well as a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and HD (720p) video recording.

Other highlights of the Galaxy Core LTE include 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, microSD (up to 64GB), secondary VGA camera, and 2100 mAh battery.
