Yesterday, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation officially unveiled the upcoming availability of an HTC One flavor running under stock Android, and it seems that the company is set to bring the software to existing HTC One users as well.

According to a recent article on The Verge, the company is considering the launch of an AOSP ROM that will provide HTC One handsets with the possibility to deliver the same experience as the vanilla Android-based model.

Although specific info on the matter is still missing, it seems that HTC is aiming at making the HTC One more appealing than it already is, and that the removal of the Sense UI from its Android version might be seen as a good option to do so. Stay tuned for more on this.
