HTC is already sending out its press events

We've been avidly speculating that HTC’s upcoming flagship will apparently be unveiled under a different name than previous top-tiers outed by the company.

The rumor mill calls it Hima, but we all know this is just a code name. We are yet to discover what HTC will be calling its next flagship, but the company wants to make sure you’ll be part of the event that will introduce its next-gen top-tier device.

So HTC has already started sending out invites for a press event that teases to show us “what’s next.” The happening is scheduled to take place on March 1 at MWC 2015 in Barcelona.

The tag line is “Utopia in Progress” but we don’t really know what that means at the moment. Given the fact that HTC unveiled its M7 flagship two years ago during the same event and the M8 in 2014, we can be pretty confident Hima is in line to be launched.

HTC’s upcoming flagship is expected to don a 5-inch display with 1080p resolution. It will draw power from a Snapdragon 810 chipset fitted with 3GB of RAM and will run Android 5.0.1 Lollipop out of the box with Sense UI 7.0 on top.

The handset is also expected to take advantage of a 20.7MP camera on the back and a 13MP up in front. Keep a lookout for it in March.
