As expected, Canadian carrier Bell has just added the Windows Phone 8S by HTC to its portfolio.

The smartphone was confirmed a while ago and Windows Phone fans looking for a cheaper alternative to Lumia 920 can now grab this one via Bell.

MobileSyrup reports the 8S is now available for purchase from Bell for only $280/€205 outright. In addition, customers who do not mind being committed to a long-term plan can grab it for free with a new three-year agreement. Check it out here.

HTC 8S competes against Nokia Lumia 620 for the title of the cheapest Windows Phone 8 device available on the market.

The phone packs a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion. More details on HTC 8S’ specs can be found here.
