A new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phone for the local market

A new Android-based smartphone from HTC has been spotted in China recently, with model number T327d / T327w attached to it.

The handset was spotted at the Industry and Information Technology in China, where it received the necessary approvals for being launched in the country.

Packing a 4.0-inch WVGA touchscreen display, the smartphone is powered by a 1GHz processor and runs under Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

On the back, the new mobile phone sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper with support for HD video recording. The phone’s specs list also includes 512MB of RAM, and support for 1900/1800/900 MHz (I) MHz, GSM W-CDMA 2100 connectivity.

HTC T327d was spotted in black, white and dark silver, while HTC T327w might be released all dressed up only in white. Stay tuned for more info on this.
