It appears that HTC slashed 35% off Sensation price in India. The smartphone was launched in the country several weeks ago for a suggested retail price of Rs 36,000 (725 USD or 550 EUR) off-contract.

However, the guys over at AndroidOS have just learned that the HCT Sensation can now be purchased via online retailer Infibeam for only Rs 23,799 (475 USD or 365 EUR) outright.

HTC Sensation is still shipped with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board, but has already been confirmed for an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade in Q2 2012.

The smartphone is equipped with a dual core Qualcomm MSM8260 Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, and packs 1GB of internal memory, 768 MB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 8GB memory card included).
