HTC Registers Growth in November, New Devices Help

The company is still well below last year’s revenue level

Today, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation announced consolidated revenues of NT$21.2 billion ($730 million / €560 million) for November 2012, up from $NT 17.21 billion ($590 million / €450 million) back in October.

Newly launched devices from the company are said to have been the main driver for the growth, including the Windows Phone 8X and 8S smartphone, and the DROID DNA.

This also suggests that the company’s new Windows Phone 8 devices did well in the past month, especially since they landed on shelves in some markets in the beginning of November.

However, the revenue levels are only in line with those registered back in September this year, while being much lower than those registered in November last year. The holiday season is expected to help the company increase its revenue a bit more.
