Following a long series of leaks, the HTC One remix is finally official at Verizon, set to become available for purchase as soon as tomorrow, July 24.

The new handset was announced as the more compact version of HTC One M8, packing about the same hardware specs as the HTC One mini 2 before it did.

Thus, those who will grab the phone will enjoy a 4.5-inch HD display, a 13-megapixel camera on its back, and a 5MP front camera for making video calls and for snapping great selfies, just as with the HTC One M8.

“The HTC One remix is designed to make sure that selfies are clear, sharp and upload-worthy for all to see. The camera app also has a timer countdown so users can smile at the right moment,” Verizon explains.

Moreover, it comes with 16GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 128GB of additional storage space, and a 2100mAh battery inside.

The HTC One remix also offers XLTE connectivity, as well as all of the features and capabilities that HTC included in its latest Sense UI release. HTC BoomSound, HTC BlinkFeed and an enhanced camera app are also present on the device.

Starting July 24, Verizon’s customers will be able to purchase the handset at $99.99 (€74) with the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier.
